Estancia Quemquemtreu is just 60 minutes driving south of Junin de los Andes. A privately owned Patagonian working ranch with holdings of 200,000 acres, the Ranch offers anglers access to the Rio Collon Cura one of the region's most productive and reliable waters. An excellent "all-inclusive" service with Family style meals are served with all natural meats, vegetable and other foods produced organically on the farm.
The main house offers 5 double bedrooms each one with private bathroom, a nice dining room and a living room with a wide fireplace. Two other rooms can be also used in an adjacent house. A side barn has been turned into a great Bar where snacks and drinks are served every night after fishing. There is also a pool table for those who like to try their skills.
The Collon Cura River is the focus from Quemquemtreu, with 23 miles is a large size river where 3 full day float trips are available for our clients. The majority of trout here are rainbows but there are some big browns too.
Non-anglers take advantage of the long days with horseback rides and hikes to see wildlife. The extension of this remote Ranch provides lots of unspoiled territory and shelter for wild life as Red deer, wild boars, guanacos, foxes and armadillos are not hard to find. A good number of the famous Condor de los Andes are usually easy to sight. And different types of ducks, herons, eagles, kingfishers, quail, doves, scavengers, flamingos, swans, falcons among others are usually not hard to find as well. Guests are also welcome to become involved in everyday farm life such as riding with the gauchos, milking or rounding up cattle.
Estancia Rahue-Quillen & Hostería
Located 50 miles to the Junín de los Andes, The Estancia Rahue-Quillen & Hosteria it is family owned and operated, and offers all inclusive service for anglers exclusively with customized attention.
Cattle tradition since 1903, the estancia opened its doors for lovers of big game and fly fishing in the 1970s. The shell located between the Aluminé and the Quillén River, next to the countless cold water mirrors are the scene of trout fishing, practiced with guides and crafts from the estancia. And during the game season, the Quillén private reserve offers excellent specimens of red deer and wild boar. The program is completed with horseback and rafting excursions to fully enjoy the Andes mountain range landscape.
At the moment the establishment, through its successors, is dedicated to the production of bovine, racially mixed horses, pure blood of race; small cabin in the production of cows and bulls of roundup.
The lodge offers accommodation for 8 fishermen in comfortable rooms each with private bathroom. The country style bar is where guests and guides get together in the evenings to share daily fishing experiences.
From the lodge we access the 4 sections of Alumine, Quillen, Malalco and Malleo river. In the Alumine River, fish will take big dries such as hoppers, stimulators, Chernobyl ants, as well as nymphs and streamers. Evening hatches are great and sometimes the fish even become selective and force us to match the hatches. Not only can one catch many fish but one can also expect to catch a monster brown, at any time!

Rio Manso Lodge
Deep in the wild and untrammeled beauty of Patagonian Andes Mountains, Rio Manso Lodge is located at the confluence of Hess lake and Manso river, in the Nahuel Huapi National Park and 90 minutes south west of the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. Impeccably run by bilingual hosts Sebastian and Eugenia Graziosi, the lodge is stylish and excellent by any standards.

San Huberto Fishing Lodge

Spring Creek Lodge
Spring Creek Lodge is located only 6 miles from Junín de los Andes, 20 minutes from Chapelco Airport and 14 miles from the Malleo River on the Lanín National Park. It is a very special place on the banks of the Chimehuin River, at the foot of Lanín Volcano. This area, known as the "Mecca for fly fishing" offers 10 rivers and 10 lakes that are unrivalled for the practice of sport fishing.
Francisco "Franky" Pollitzer and his family are personally in charge of every detail that will guarantee your full-time enjoyment of the charms of this place. In the kitchen, Daniel Robinson and his team, prepare the most exquisite dishes of the regional and international cuisine.
Spring Creek Lodge has a club-house with a restaurant, bar and lounge. Six cozy bungalows are ready to receive guests. The Chimehuin River is well-known to anglers all over the world as a true paradise. Surrounded by unbelievably beautiful landscape and watched over by the Lanín volcano that goes back thousands of years, its magical waters are populated by large-sized exotic species of superior quality. Rainbow, Brown and Book trout's will gallantly fight. From the lodge anglers can access the Malleo, Aluminé, Collon Cura River and others. However, since the Chimehuín River is no further than just a few steps from the lodge, we will be concentrating most of our time there, fishing from the "boca" to where it enters into the Collon Cura River.
Tipiliuke Fishing Lodge – Estancia Cerro de los Pinos
Tipiliuke Fishing Lodge is situated in the Chimehuín river valley, 15 miles from Junín de los Andes and 20 miles from San Martín de los Andes. Is part of the 48,000 acre Cerro de los Pinos country estate founded in 1909 by the grandfather of the current owners. Since it is still a fully working farm, guests can participate in harnessing the animals and take part in other rural tasks with the farm workers, or just relax in the beautiful surroundings.
The ranch buildings are very beautiful and unique in their style, including the lodge, the old barns, the chapel and several family houses. TheLodge is located in the heart of the property. Fly fishing rainbow and brown trout is the main activity for guests during summer and autumn time. The property stretches 9 miles along the Chimehuín river and 4 miles along the Quilquihue river. Both are known worldwide for their great dry fly fishing and the magnificence of their waters. Nymphs and streamers still the best option to catch large brown trout out from under submerged rocks or the willow lined bank.
